Design

Sagan's design is simulation-first, strongly typed, composition-oriented, and aimed at predictable native execution.

The design documentation uses five confidence labels:

Label	Meaning
Implemented	Observable in the current repository and tokenizer tests.
Settled design	Current language direction to preserve while implementing.
Provisional design	Intended shape that still needs parser or semantic validation.
Planned	Roadmap work with no implementation yet.
Open question	A decision that has deliberately not been made.
